Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Congress and Exhibition

 Dr James Stoxen DC, was the first chiropractic physician to lecture at the First African International Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Congress and Exhibition from 26 -28 January 2007 in South Africa’s mother city at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) Dr Stoxen gave a 1 hour main floor lecture entitled Abnormal Biomechanics and the Aging Process and a 2.5 hour hands on workshop as well on Abnormal Biomechanics and the Aging Process.
The first summer exhibition of 2007 was made possible by combining the efforts of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine – A4M, and the South African Academy Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Medicine – SA5M. What makes this event even more unique is that it will be held in one of the world’s leading and ever modern conference facilities – the renowned Cape Town International Convention Center
The theme of this exhibition not only being a first for South Africa, but also an international event; it will draw delegates from around the world and also create a lot of excitement within the medical fraternity of South Africa.
In short a network opportunity per excellence for imports, exports, tourism as well as to exchange vital scientific information in person to combat killer diseases threatening our world and life expectancy. Those being fit for attending this anti-aging and aesthetic congress involve a wide field of medical related specialties and ancillary vocations with a keen interest in the business and scientific aspects of this emerging and unstoppable trend of modern society.

Anti-aging Medicine is a medical specialty founded in the application of advanced scientific and medical technology for the prevention, early detection, treatment and thus reversal of age related dysfunction, disorders and diseases. It is a particular healthcare modality promoting innovative and pioneering science to prolong the lifespan in humans based on thorough scientific research. The same applies to Aesthetic Medicine with the emphasis shifted towards the prevention, early detection and treatment of conditions affecting our appearance, lifestyle and even longevity. These two sciences are based on sound scientific research and is a reflection of responsible medical care found in other preventative as well as curative healthcare specialties.
SA5M and A4M seek to disseminate information concerning innovative science and research as well as treatment modalities designed to prolong the human life span. Anti-aging medicine is based on the scientific principles of responsible medical care consistent with those of other healthcare specialties. Although A4M seeks to disseminate information on many types of medical treatments, it does not promote or endorse any specific treatment nor does it sell or endorse any commercial product.
